Dried Floral Sprigs in Watercolor with Shoppe At 18 Mile Creek
October 15th • 6:00Pm - 8:00pm
As we welcome fall, we will explore Watercolor through dried autumn sprigs and foliage!
Our class will focus on creating loose organic floral patterns through different brushstrokes, brush sizes, and repetition. We will work with a monochromatic color palette of sepia, grays, and autumn browns.
We will discuss your brush's specific strokes, movements, directionality, and paint application to achieve these loose floral representations. Students will work through warm-up exercises toward a completed 5x7 arrangement study to take home in an 8x10 mat package, perfect for framing!
Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!
This class is a great building block for students looking to dive into Watercolor for the first time, with a focus on illustrative watercolor practices.
