HOUSE PLANTS IN WATERCOLOR: SNAKE PLANT

February 25th • 6:00pm -8:00pm

Interested in illustrative Watercolor and looking to create a beautiful painting inspired by a favorite house plant?

Break down the beauty of the "Snake Plant ". This beginner-friendly class will discuss specific foundational practices in watercolor painting. We will focus on mixing various greens, blending with water to create beautiful tones, and layering in details with our brush and additional art tools like microns and opaque white paint. Our composition will include a fun pot to ground our painting. Students will work from a sketch, practice texture and color blending in warm-up exercises, and work toward a completed 8"x 10" watercolor piece!

Students will receive a workbook to follow along with the instructor during the class!

Though this is a beginner-friendly class, it is excellent for those who consider themselves at the intermediate level, have a basic understanding of brush control, and would like to push toward a more detailed, planned, and advanced composition!
