“Pink Mist”

Inspired by a collection of miniature atmospheric landscapes highlighting the relationship between land, water, and sky, this watercolor print is formatted to celebrate the original size of the painting (6” x 6”) and provide a moment of balance with a bold white border. Formated to fit a standard 8" x 10" or 11" x14" frame edge to edge. 

This composition focuses on the relationship between sky and land and the importance of color combinations and natural color mixing in watercolor. A pastel pink sky is paired against light blue, highlighting an atmospheric vibration of color as it mimics the mist hovering above the ground as the land wakes in the morning.
