Inspired by a collection of hand-gathered wildflowers from my garden in a natural arrangement, this watercolor is a gestural study on black watercolor paper focusing on various arrangements of the wild daisy. The texture and tone of the paper allows for the beauty of “white” in watercolor to shine.

This composition focuses on the relationship between the wild daisies, buttercups, purple aster, and Purple "Dames Rocket." Wildflowers

Medium: 140 lb black cold pressed watercolor paper, watercolor, and India ink.

Frame: Raw Maple

• The listing is for the framed watercolor. Frames are hand cut, sanded, constructed with a local buffalo framer, and designed to compliment my work.

• Painting is protected with protective glass and backed with wall mounts for easy hanging.
