JOIN MY SUMMER GARDEN CLUB SERIES, WHERE WE WILL LEARN TO PAINT SPECIFIC GARDEN VARIETY FLOWERS IN WATERCOLOR.
This floral-intensive series is perfect for those who have worked with watercolor, specifically flowers, and want to keep pushing themselves to find their painting style.
Throughout June, July, and August, we will meet on two Thursday evenings per month and paint from life in this flower intensive. Each meeting will focus on a new flower. We will use that session to master the essence of that specific flower in a study format. Looking at details like stems, petal shapes, color matching, and deciding what watercolor techniques would be best suited to capture the beauty of our subject.
Level:
This series best suits intermediate students who understand brush control, color mixing, and beginner watercolor techniques. We will cover some basic techniques in this series.
This class is a great building block for those students who have taken beginning watercolor classes and are interested in learning specific florals.
Students are required to bring their watercolor supplies to this workshop. I will be providing the flowers.
This series will occur at my artist studio in Orchard Park, NY. Spaces are limited to accommodate the space and provide a more one-on-one experience for questions and instruction.
