Abstract Mini LANDSCAPes in WATERCOLOR

Mini Landscapes in Watercolor is a fun-sized practice in intuitive Watercolor painting.

We will compose a 6' x 6" finished landscape painting focusing on color combinations, wet-on-wet blending, and atmospheric composition of land and sky. We will focus on building an organic design, impactful color palette choices, and how we can capture a natural landscape with a wet-on-wet painting approach.

To create impact and texture, students will work with warm-up exercises focused on wet-on-wet paint application, expressive brush strokes, and color mixing and blooming. These are practices they can use in future watercolor pieces.

Students will receive a workbook to follow along with the instructor during the class!
