July is Watercolor Month, and it's a perfect time to celebrate the basics!

Are you new to watercolors? Are you seeking more instruction or brushing up on your supplies and skills? Watercolor: The Basics will break down the foundational techniques of watercolor painting and the tools you can use to create beautiful paintings.

Our class will cover the following:

• Introduction to supplies

• Color mixing - creating the color wheel with Watercolor

• Mastering tone with water through washes and blending practice

• The importance of wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, layering, and more!

Students will receive a beginners guide workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!

Level:

This class is a great building block for students looking to dive into watercolor for the first time or brush up on old skills. 

Age:

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

Supplies:

All supplies needed for this class are included in the $45 ticket price.

Location:

This class will take place at Hyatt’s

I will be in Hyatt’s classroom from 12:30 PM - 4 PM for a teacher meet and greet and the opportunity to help students with supply questions, browse my work, and shop the massive Hyatt’s store.
